I have chosen Chitra Bannerji's short story called " Doors" from her book titled " Arranged Marriage". After having delved into a father-daughter relationship in our last story discussion...I thought its time we pick a relationship that we have to deal with on a day-today basis of our current lives....husband and wife!!! :-)
When I chanced upon this story on randomly reading " Arranged Marriage"...I liked this one. I think we can all relate to it...one way or the other....There is always some habit, belief or sentiment of your spouse that you fail to get or empathize with...something which is the cause of many arguments or altercations....this one may have taken an extreme end ...but there are certain portions ..which Im sure you can all understand.
